Description
This 1927 Charles Lindbergh token is in excellent condition for its age and ready to ship. Originally sold as a souvenir when Charles Lindbergh made a stop in Springfield Vermont on July 26th at the Springfield Landing Field (as it was known then) just two months after he made his ground-breaking Trans-Alantic flight. He was greeted by an estimated 30,000 Vermonters and the anniversary of the historic visit is still remembered by Vermonters…There was many of these tokens made for each of his stops throughout the country, but the smaller airports are much harder to find, let alone in this condition!
