Description
This great antique 2 book set “A Treatise Of Equity with the Addition Of Marginal References and Notes by John Fonblanque” dates from the late 1700s and is quite rare. Volume was published in 1793 and volume 2 followed in 1795. Volume 1 is in much better shape than the second but both are in good condition for being over 200 years old! The pages are in great shape for its age although have some minor foxing and a few assorted minor folds and tears. They are both solid copies although volume two is missing a small piece near the bottom the spine and has some cracking along the spine and is in a little worse condition. Both have minor wear and damage to the covers typical of its age, but are still very attractive copies. The bindings are tight with no loose or missing pages. Both books have a stamp of J.W. Stewart on the covers. A solid looking set of very hard to find books. Significant legal books that are still widely discussed and referred to by legal professionals to this day. George Wwashington kept a set in his library! Dont miss these, they dont come up for sale very often! Please look closely at all photos for best idea of condition.
