This great vintage wind up toy was made by Marx sometime in the 1950’s. Measuring a little over 10″ long, this fantastic tin litho tank is one of the later versions of the many different “fighting tanks” made by Marx over the years. It has some really great graphics as well as the Marx logo on the rear. The wind up motor is in working condition and the rubber treads are complete, although one tread does have a clip on it, so it may have been replaced at one point. The sparking guns on the side have the original covers but are missing the flints. The brake lever is intact and working. It does have some very minor wear but is in amazing condition for its age, with bright crisp colors. There is a small dent on the bottom (see pics) which may have something to do with the front gun not moving and recoiling when it is moving like it should. It may be an easy fix but we will leave that up to the buyer. An overall great looking old tin toy that isn’t easy to find in this kind of condition. This is a really nice looking old toy!
